An incident on ‘similarities’ in occurrences in Pakistan and India.

I was reading Fasi Zaka’s article titled “Pakistan’s Human Cockroaches” talking as to why Pakistan is a failed state. The author succinctly deplores the Country with these lines;

Pakistan, you are a failed state. Not because of Zardari. Not because of America. But because you are a failed people, all of us undeserving of sympathy. We are diseased, rotten to every brain stem, world please make an impenetrable fence around us, keep us all in so we don’t spread it to other people, other countries.

What is also interesting is his mention of the Sialkot murders. An incident where two people were beaten to death in the presence of the police in Sialkot. I myself was quite shocked when I saw the video on youtube.

India is no different. Though there have been various reported instances of similar incidents happening in India. We have an additional advantage in preserving the rule of law; our Politicians watch our police bleed to death.
